SASSA Payment Schedule for January 2026

Bank Payments (All Grants)
Date: 1 January 2026 (or last working day of December if 1st falls on a holiday)All grants paid directly to bank accounts will be deposited on the 1st of the month. This includes:

- Care Dependency Grant
Cash Payment Points
Old Age Grant & Disability Grant:
- Dates: 3-5 January 2026
- Note: Beneficiaries aged 75+ are served first
- Dates: 6-7 January 2026
Post Office Payments
Same dates as cash payment points. Bring your SASSA card and ID document.
Important Reminders
- Don't miss payments - Uncollected grants for 3 consecutive months may be suspended

What If I Miss My Payment Date?
